PVC Insulated Twisted Pair Thermocouple Cable with Armour (80°C)
We supply single pair 16/0.2mm dia armoured thermocouple cable in 25, 50, 100 or 200 metre lengths in either thermocouple types KX, KCB, TX, JX, NX, or RCA/SCA. Each conductor is insulated in flame retardant PVC, the pair is then twisted, screened with aluminium Mylar tape, flame retardant PVC sheathed, steel wire armoured then flame retardant PVC sheathed overall. All conductors used (except for compensating cable) are made from the relevant thermocouple material and meets IEC 60584-1 Class 2 up to 80°C. The insulation material is colour coded to IEC 60584-3 as shown below.

Type KX extension cable: green outer sheath, green positive and white negative cores
Type KCB compensating cable: green outer sheath, green positive and white negative cores
Type TX extension cable: brown outer sheath, brown positive and white negative cores
Type JX extension cable: black outer sheath, black positive and white negative cores
Type NX extension cable: pink outer sheath, pink positive and white negative cores
Type RCA/SCA compensating cable: orange outer sheath, orange positive and white negative cores
