High Density Feedthrough Assemblies for Thermocouple, RTD or Equipment Wire Applications
Our feedthrough assemblies comprise a high density wire feedthrough sealed with a sealing gland. A PTFE lined stainless steel tube is swaged over 12, 24, 40 or 60 bundled solid 0.5mm diameter, PTFE insulated Thermocouple or Copper conductors to make the high density feedthrough. The swaged tube is then mounted in a sealing gland. Assemblies are supplied with 600mm of wire on each side of the feedthrough, however, longer leads can be made to order)
- Continuous wire feedthroughs for thermocouples types K, T, J or N (others thermocouple types available on request), 2,3 or 4 wire RTD's as well as other low voltage signalling requiring copper leads
- 12, 24, 40 or 60 bundled solid 0.5mm diameter, PTFE insulated Thermocouple or Copper conductors
- No epoxy or potting required
- Feedthrough tube diameters are:
4.5mm: 6 T/C's or 4 three wire RTD's or 12 equipment wires
6.0mm: 12 T/C's or 8 three wire RTD's or 24 equipment wires
8.0mm: 20 T/C's or 13 three wire RTD's or 40 equipment wires
10.0mm: 30 T/C's or 20 three wire RTD's or 60 equipment wires
- Offered as standard with a PTFE Sealant, however, other sealants including Neoprene, Viton and Lava are also available
- Suited for pressure applications up to 350 bar @20°C
- Leak rate: 1x10-6 cm3/sec, Helium @20°C, 1 Atm supplied
- Ideal for use in vacuum applications and are rated to 6.67 x 10-4 Pa (6.67 x 10-6 mbar) for assemblies with Neoprene, Viton or PFAsealants. Lava sealants are not recommended for use in vacuum applications
- Tube length is typically 80 or 100mm, but can be made to suit customers requirements
- All wires are marked on each side of the feedthrough for identification
- A full custom build assembly service available on request where the following options can be chosen to order. Other thermocouple types, alternative sealants such as Neoprene, Viton or Lava, alternative thread sizes, differing tube lengths and lead lengths, a specific number of wires as well as a mixture of thermocouple and equipment wires within the same assembly
- Temperature rated -40°C to +125°C
- Electrically rated 100V DC @ 500 mA
- 316L Body (and seat where applicable). Follower and cap in 303 or 304
