Fire Testing Copper Disc Thermocouple

This simple fibreglass insulated thermocouple for fire test related applications incorporates a 12mm diameter x 0.2mm thick copper disc, which is designed to be affixed to a thermal pad by the user upon installation. The disc is welded to the measuring junction to allow the probe to be used within suitable applications, under EN1363-1:2012. The sensors can be used in fire resistance testing, intermediate-scale orientation tests, testing fire propagation on facades and material thermomechanical characterisation tests. Available with or without a miniature connector attached, in 2 or 5 metre lengths.

• Operating range: -10ºC to +480ºC
