We will endeavour to maintain all prices. However, certain products, especially those that contain precious metals, can fluctuate in price dramatically.
Price Promise
This offer is open to UK and Republic of Ireland customers only for products which are within this website although we will consider claims for other products or from customers outside of this territory both of which are at our discretion. The price promise offer means we will sell to you at 10% less than what you have been offered from another supplier. We will also send you a free gift. In order to make a claim for this offer, we require you to give us a bona fide copy of the quotation you wish us to beat which should be from an established UK supplier of temperature and/or process control products. The quotation should be no more than three months old and should be on a like for like basis to the product you wish to buy from TC Direct. For example, dimensionally, same technical description and/or with a similar delivery. We reserve the right to limit this offer to one occasion only per customer. Products containing any precious metals whatsoever are excluded from this offer but again, may be considered at our discretion.
We must of course have this eligibility clause and our decision as to accepting orders or not with this offer is final. We want you to be able to make this claim, so we will do all we can to help you. We do of course believe that we have great prices to start with, but we will never be beaten on price! On top of that, you will get great quality products as well as any advice or support that you need.
VAT
VAT is payable on all products at the rate ruling on the date of the invoice.
Descriptions
We give as much detail as is possible on all products and further details can be obtained from us promptly where necessary. Whilst we do not accept any liability for errors or omissions, our copywriters have done a good job to check this catalogue carefully. If there are any problems though, we will try our hardest to sort them out between us. We want you to come back.
Suitability
The suitability of any of the products shown in this catalogue is entirely at your discretion, as the purchaser must be the best judge for any particular application. However, in the unlikely event of there being a problem, we will try our hardest to find a speedy resolution to the benefit of all concerned. We want your continuing business!
Liability and Guarantee
All our products are guaranteed to be free from defect or faulty workmanship. We will promptly replace or repair, at our cost, any product which we consider is faulty and our limitation of liability is limited to the value of the product in question. Remember that some products such as temperature sensors are consumable items and may, depending on your process, have a limited life. All of our controller products have either a 3 or 5 year warranty period! We are that confident that we won't see them again!
Product improvement
Product improvement is a continuing goal at TC Direct. We reserve the right to change, vary or alter the product specification without prior notification.
Returns
Due to the specific nature of our products some items may be non-returnable.
Delivery
We have a vast range of products Ex Stock for immediate delivery.
UK carriage is £16.50 per shipment but free for orders above £500.00. If you require delivery before noon the next day, charges start at £21.50 dependant on location.
Payment
This can be arranged by Visa Debit, Visa Credit or Mastercard or alternatively by 30 days nett monthly account, which means that payment is due by the last day of the month following the month of delivery ie. between 30 and 60 days credit. Please don't abuse this privilege as we hate sending nasty letters!
Damage in transit or shortages
All our products are checked and packed with care, but if you do have a problem, call us as soon as you know, but no later than seven days following receipt of goods. We will look to resolve the problem to everyone's satisfaction.
Ownership
Goods remain our property until they are paid for in full.
